Since 1941 MYF (now UMYF--United Methodist Youth Fellowship) has been an active part of Methodist churches across the country and throughout the world. Here at FUMC, we strive to make our youth ministry a safe, fun place where youth can come fellowship with other Christians, grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, and have opportunities to reach out in service to others.
The youth ministry at FUMC is called Touchstone youth ministry.
The word, touchstone, by definition means guide. Since we ask for Christ to be our barometer, or look to the precedent He set for us, what better term could we use to describe our awesome youth ministry?
