Dear Youth, Parents and Friends,

Sunday, March 14, is Youth Sunday at First United Methodist Church of Sylva. This special day allows time for the youth in our church to provide inspirational worship services for our congregation. We look forward to this meaningful day every year. The schedule for the day is as follows:

7:45am Youth Praise Band meet in gym to rehearse
8:30am All youth please meet in the gym. DON’T BE LATE.
9:00am Youth Sunday Worship
10:00am Breakfast in the Asbury room
11:00am Youth Sunday Worship
12:00pm Fry-bread luncheon benefiting Youth Missions
6-8pm UMYF dinner and games at the Fun Spot. Please bring
$7.00 for games and laser tag. Dinner will be provided.
Invite your friends!

Several of you have already agreed to be a part of worship. I am still assigning jobs to people, so please take note of where your name falls in the bulletin. Below is the information for both the 9am and the 11am worship services. If you have been assigned to something that you cannot do, please inform me of this ASAP. If you would like to participate and do not see your name, CALL ME.

The luncheon following the services will require the help of EVERYONE. Please plan to stay and help setup/serve/cleanup this day.

Please come prepared and on time Sunday morning (March 14). If you have questions, do not hesitate to call me. My cell phone number is 508-2870.
Thank you in advance to each of you for your commitment to Youth Sunday 2010. It truly is one of my favorite Sundays of the year! Can’t wait to see you!

Since 1941 MYF (now UMYF--United Methodist Youth Fellowship) has been an active part of Methodist churches across the country and throughout the world. Here at FUMC, we desire UMYF to be a safe, fun place where youth can come fellowship with other Christians, grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, and have opportunities to reach out in service to others.
